chasing change

I’m chasing change (whatever that really means). It’s time to move one from the sleepy suburbs of Canberra. It’s a bittersweet move though as I leave behind some really beautiful people. Friends that I have laughed and cried with and grown oh so fond of.

Coming from Adelaide I enjoy the pace and serenity that is Canberra. I love the bright blue skies that open up (though it's often bitingly cold) and simple things like riding around the lake and exploring the local markets.

I’ve always believed that Canberra much like Adelaide, is not a city that entertains you; but rather a place where you must find ways to entertain yourself. Perhaps it’s through this sometimes boring setting, that you meet and forge some of the greatest, sometimes unlikely and surprisingly deep friendships. This has certainly been the case both in Canberra and Adelaide (which I will always consider home).

I can only wonder what the road ahead will bring...
